An extremely important member of the Auto-Moto Association of Slovenia, not only as a director, but also as a supporter of sustainable development, and the recipient of numerous awards in the field of management.

Why did you decide to accept the role of Ambassador of the Women’s EHF EURO 2022?

I support sports and good in society. Congratulations to the Handball Association of Slovenia for such a broad and sustainable story. In this story sports quickly becomes the story of the people. The goal of empowering women in sport and society in general is very positive and is very close to me in terms of thinking and acting.

Why is it worth fighting for a greater role for women in society?

It is important to support diversity. Gender diversity is very important. The greater role of women in society is important in several respects.
The Harvard Business Review (2020) found that the time of the pandemic revealed the value of women in leadership positions.

How important is the concept of sustainable development in your everyday life?

Very. I raise awareness and change patterns. If we want to change society, we must first change ourselves.

What do you think are the main parallels between sports and business?

There are a lot of them. In both sports and business, perseverance, goal orientation, courage, passion, discipline, focus and looking at what you have learned and becoming even stronger are all important.

What is your attitude towards sports and especially handball?

I have been active in sports since I was a child, more precisely in motorsport. It has taught me a lot.
I’ve been more involved with handball in recent years because I have a 12-year-old at home who spends much of the afternoons in the hall with a handball. Probably that’s why I take this project and the story a little more personally.

Which of the ambassadors do you know best and which do you appreciate?

I know most of them. And I appreciate them all. A gorgeous circle of women has been chosen.

Where will Slovenia place in the EHF Euro 2022?

I want only one thing for our girls – the top.
