Stožice Hall, a Modern Temple Of Slovenian Sport

In August 2010, after years of waiting and two years of construction, Ljubljana received a modern multi-purpose sports arena in Stožice.

The exceptional hall, a true sports beauty, opened its doors for the first time for a basketball match, followed by a spectacular boxing match in front of packed stands, and since then it has hosted many concerts of renowned musicians, European basketball, volleyball and futsal championships and of course national team and club handball matches. RK Krim Mercator regularly hosts the best European women’s handball teams in the Stožice arena in the Champions League, and the Slovenian national team played a mathc against the current European and world champions from Norway in Stožice in October.

The availability of parking spaces, good public transport connections and a capacity of 12,480 seats are a perfect foundation for the handball
