Boris Trajkovski Sports Hall
Boris Trajkovski Sports Hall is considered the home of Macedonian sports. It has hosted numerous competitions of national teams, from basketball and volleyball to handball. The European Women’s Handball Championship is no stranger to this Skopje arena. In 2008, the matches of groups A and D in the preliminary round and group II of the main round of the Euro were played in the largest arena in Skopje.
The sports hall, named after the former Macedonian president is regularly filled with 8,000 people, not only at sports competitions but also at numerous music concerts that are being held there. However, the next major event will be marked by sports, specifically handball. Women’s EHF Euro returns to Skopje after 14 years.
